How to Engage your Audience

As you already know…

Social Media platforms have become the worlds fastest growing networks!

They have also become most entrepreneurs BEST friend(s)! Crazy right? I know!

Of course, working your business OFFLINE is amazing and definitely works for some. But many people are shifting gears towards learning and understanding new methods to using social media to their advantage, to help them expand their network of people – to grow their businesses!

After all, if your already on Social Media (for fun), why NOT make money too?!

Check out these stats!

To be completely honest, I’m not sure when this was last updated or who created it. I would love to take credit (it looks pretty legit to me) but that would be unethical.

What I do know is… that these statistics are insane! Probably not 100% accurate, which doesn’t really matter, because all social media platforms these days are growing and growing by the hour, by the minute, by the second!

I personally use Facebook and Instagram to work my business. I have also tried using Twitter, Google + and LinkedIn, but I found it extremely stressful to manage all 5 of these Social Media platforms daily.

Yes, I know that there are third party tools available to help manage this many platforms, but in some (well most) cases, using third party tools to “do the work” for you such as schedule posts, doesn’t help you in terms of visibility on social media whatsoever.

All social media platforms like (or I should say appreciate) when you use their platform solely and all it’s functions and capabilities. Once a third party tool is used, it’s almost like we get pushed to the back of the line or bus, and are often considered disrespectful and or possible spammers. This then, lessens your visibility on timelines, which isn’t something any entrepreneur wants to experience!

Let’s #respect all social media platforms!

Learning about the different platforms, may be beneficial to you as an entrepreneur, based on your niche and future goals. Using all functions and capabilities properly, is always something you want to do so that you can best utilize each platform, to ensure you are being seen in all the right places, at the right time!

TODAY – Let’s talk Facebook!

Again, these stats may not 100% accurate, and that’s okay! It’s just to give you a basic overview of what is happening in the Facebook community each and every day!

Something I recently learned about Facebook and some of its new updates, is that the MORE you engage with your audience, the MORE you get SEEN πŸ‘€ in timelines. Sound a bit scary? Well, it is and it’s not.

Basically, what this means is….

The more you LIKE, COMMENT, TAG, SHARE, etc. the more you will actually appear in your FB friends timelines.

Here is an example:

Let’s say you have 1000 FB friends, and only “engage” with about 20 of them. Chances are, ONLY about 20 (or less) of those 1000 friends will see ANY of your posts.

I’ve recently been trying different methods to engage my audience. I’m going to share some examples of posts you can use to get more ACTION on your page!

Note: I found all of these images on google. You do NOT have to use these specific ones if you do not wish. There are TONS more on Google. You can also get crafty and create your own! Authenticity is always a good call πŸ™‚

Also, some of the images include text, others do not. You can create an inviting/ engaging blurb to use as the text for those images that are not self explanatory.
